Our beef empanadas are delicious Southwestern inspired appetizers. Combine with Vegetable Empanadas on your serving platter and make it a Mexican party theme –how about a Cinco De Mayo party? Serve beef empanadas with salsa.

  • Upon arrival simply freeze. Before use, do not thaw.

Beef Empanadas

INGREDIENTS: Puff dough: (enriched flour (bleached wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid, malted barley flour), partially hydrogenated vegetable shortening (soybean and cottonseed oil with mono and diglycerides, BHT preservative, and artificial flavor), water, contains 2% or less of: salt, dough conditioner (soy flour, calcium sulfate, sorbic acid), leavening (monocalcium phosphate), vegetable color (annatto, tumeric). Filling: ground beef, salsa (tomato puree (water, tomato paste), diced tomatoes, onions, jalapenos, less than 2% of: diced green chilies, green bell peppers, distilled vinegar, modified cornstarch, salt, spices, citric acid, garlic, calcium chloride, natural flavor), onions, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, cheddar cheese (pasteurized milk, cheese culture, salt, enzymes, annatto coloring, cellulose), cilantro, cider vinegar (juice of apples, diluted with water to a uniform pickling and table strength of 5% (50 grains) acidity), garlic powder, salt, cumin, jalapeno peppers (jalapeno peppers, water, vinegar, calcium chloride, salt), salt, cumin, chipotle powder, pepper. Egg wash (egg, water).
